Who are you?: My name's Miranda Doerfler, but you can call me Mira, Doc, Kat *meow*, Gimly, Giggles, Holster, Ace, Freddy Krueger, The Headshot Mistress, "Cliffs Notes for TV," Agent Intern Mira (AIM) or Leon. Occasionally, I go by John Watson, Michael Westen or Ryan Stiles.

How old are you?: I'm 21 years old as of now, turning 22 in December.

Do you have a partner?: Yes; I'm married to celli_puzzle and I love her with all my heart. <3 I am also married to Jack Bauer (from 24), T-Bag (from Prison Break), Ryan Stiles (from Whose Line) and Freddy Krueger (from A Nightmare on Elm Street) [Haha! Polygamy!] via epic_marriage.

What are your interests/hobbies?: I'm really into writing, interior decorating, Ancient Egypt, forensics/murder, counter-terrorism and intelligence gathering, politics, among other topics. Hobbies include writing, of course. TV, video games, movies, reading. See lists below...

Tell us a random fact about yourself: I have five tattoos thus far (an Ankh with the Eye of Ra in the center, a Pentacle tat just like the one the Winchester boys have in "Jus in Bello", a stack of books with a coffee cup on top, a tribute to my favorite video game, Heavy Rain, which is composed of the seven significant Origami figures from the game, and the poem sent by the Origami Killer to the parents of his victims, the manner in which Freddy Krueger would "get me," were I in a Nightmare movie; I would fall asleep at the computer, and Freddy would come through it and an ouroboros, the symbol of the Millennium group from one of my favorite shows of all time, Millennium).

For what reason do you have an LJ account?: It's a way to get my name out there, get myself known. Even if it's only on a small scale, a lot more people know me (and I know a lot more people) now than before I had my LJ. This is also in order to help myself stay dedicated to something. I hardly ever am able to keep up with something, and making sure that I write a blog every day is a way to acheive my goals set for myself. Character building? I guess you could say that.

Where did the username "docsaico" come from?: In my freshman year of high school, I joined the official 24 forum, where I gave myself the username SAICOCTU. That is an abbreviation for Secret Agent In Command Of CTU (the Counter Terrorist Unit, which is where Jack Bauer works). A friend on the forum took to calling me "saico" for short, and as a play on words, saying, "Well, you are a psycho, haha." Sophomore year of high school, I joined the official House forum and tacked a "Dr." onto the nickname "Saico" to create Dr. Saico. Friends on the House forum began calling me, "Doc." I started going by "docsaico" and now, that is the username I use for almost everything.

Why is your LJ titled the way it is?: "You don't get to be me, and I do, so fuck you!" is something RDJ once said in an interview. I LOVE IT. I think it's the epitome of self-confidence and self-esteem. I fully support people adopting that as their motto.

What are you up to now?: I am attending Full Sail University to obtain a Bachelor's degree in their Creative Writing for Entertainment online program. I have a full-time job working for a local newspaper. I have completed a 66-page TV script for an original show that I intend to pitch and sell in the next year. I have self-published six collections of short stories: Brimstone Nightmares, Modern-Day Horrors, From Blood & Brain, Bloody Apparitions, Shadows at Dusk, The Saico Chronicles, which is a sort of anthology containing every story from my first three publications. I hand make and sell Robert Englund approved Freddy Krueger jewelry and charms.
